The CHSCP Multi-agency Training Programme is designed to supplement safeguarding training within organisations and to address the importance of practitioners working effectively and collaboratively across organisations. The courses within the programme are designed to assist professionals to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that they need in order to contribute positively to multi-agency working and to achieve better outcomes for children and young people.
In addition to the training programme, the CHSCP organises a series of lunchtime seminars in response to recent issues, developments and policies at a national and local level. For example, topics have included: Forced Marriage and Honour Based Violence, Female Genital Mutilation and Learning Lessons from Serious Case Reviews.
All professionals who work with children and young people from statutory and non-statutory organisations in the City and Hackney are welcome to apply for the courses. To apply please complete the online Training Application Form. Dates of the courses can be found on the Training Calendar.
