Aim of the course

This half-day interactive workshop includes a briefing on contemporary issues including Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), emerging threats and how offenders use the internet.

Delegates will also use Ineqe’s acclaimed Safer Social Networking Activity Pack (SSNAP) which facilitate experiential learning, identifying and responding to risks associated with young people’s use of technology.

By the end of the training participants will:

  • An understanding of safeguarding in the context of young people’s lives and their use of social media.
  • An enhanced awareness of offender behaviour, tactics and use of new technology.
  • The ability to formulate prevention and intervention strategies.
  • The ability to use the SSNAP training resource to cascade training.

The most relevant and excellent CPD that I've done in 23 years!
