Course details:

Aim of the course

  • This is a  ½  day course which enables participants to develop an understanding of Hackney’s Early Help Framework especially in relation to families with  children under 6 years old.


By the end of the training participants will have:

  • An understanding of Hackney’s Early Help Framework
  • An understanding of the link between Early Help referral/CAF, MAT and Hackney’s Wellbeing Framework
  • Developed confidence and skills in CAF/ Early Help assessments. 

I will now be able to complete Early Help forms more efficiently and in a way where I am clear about what I think the family needs!

Before applying for CHSCB multi-agency training courses, you must have attended induction training within your own organisation, which includes familiarisation with its child protection responsibilities and the policies and procedures to be followed if you have concerns about a child's safety or welfare.

If you are applying for a Group B or C course, you must have completed introductory safeguarding children training with the CHSCB or an equivalent training course within another borough/organisation.
